This family farm has housed many childhood memories, so it seemed only fitting for it to be the backdrop of their engagement photos. From cows, soybean and hay fields to barns, trucks and silos, each special place now holds a new special memory.
I love taking family photos! Our mission in every session is to not only get you photos to share on your Christmas Cards or mantle but also capture your families unique dynamics, your emotions and your special relationship. Each family is unique and in a different season. It is our goal to capture you as you are so that you can forever remember. Here are some of the families we were able to capture this fall.
When was the last time you updated your family photos? When’s the last time you took pictures with your parents and siblings? Why not get them all done at one time?
My last wedding of the year took us up to Cleveland to celebrate this beautiful couple! These two are some of the most kind hearted, genuine people I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
I first met this couple back in collage, when they were just friends. We were all in the same field; education.
The last weekend in June found me in Amish Country at the Welshfiled Event Center celebrating this beautiful friend.
I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful wedding at the end of May. Like most months in Ohio, it’s hard to tell what you’re going to get weather wise…
It’s always an honor to be welcomed into any home to capture the first few moments of a new life. It was a special joy to capture these moments. Words cannot fully describe…
The end of January in Ohio is always up in air when it comes to snow. For this engagement shoot, we had only the lightest of dustings. Thankfully, these two braved the weather to capture these last moments as an engaged couple…
I get asked all the time, if I prefer sunny or overcast. The real answer is I like both for different reasons, but there’s something really special about an overcast day, especially in December.
We first met when we were in middle school. Assigned partners for a computer project, we quickly discovered how very different we were and yet, how alike.
“You’re the best part of my tomorrow.” Winnie the Pooh. Not many people can say they work with their best friend. I’m one of the lucky few.
Late October, we had the opportunity to travel down to Kentucky to celebrate this beautiful couple on the bride’s family farm. They met in graduate school and the rest, as they say, is history. It’s safe to assume, they never expected 2020. No one did.
Anatole France says “nine-tenths of education is encouragement,” which is easily this woman’s super power! She is a natural encourager, born with a radiating smile and contagious laughter. She is such an encouragement to me. I’m so glad we taught together for a time.
Say what you will about 2020, Ohio’s October really brought it this year. I cannot remember seeing so much color for so long. I will forever remember it, thanks to this session. I first met these two back in college.
Most people underestimate their surroundings. They fail to see that beauty is right in front of them. But then again, most people don’t have a nature preserve behind their house. It was a beautiful day to take photos of this beautiful family in a really beautiful place.
October is probably my favorite month of the year, not just because it’s my birthday month. I love to see the world turn colors and the trees catch fire. This past October was the prettiest one to date and we were fortunate enough to be able to capture some of that magic for this beautiful couple…
We welcomed our second nephew into the world, during 2020, so it wasn’t all bad! We weren’t able to go to the hospital, but we were able to take photos when he got home.
The second weekend in August found us in Akron celebrating two high school sweethearts, well sort of. From the choreographed father/daughter dance to visiting grandma at the nursing home, the prom ticket…
Is there a bigger birthday than turning ONE? Watching this sweet baby girl grow has been an honor, though she’s not a baby anymore. It’s amazing how fast the first year goes by, and all that happens in just 365 days. Happy Birthday Arya!
I spent the day with a couple that I had first met back in college. It was a beautiful day filled with immense love and joy, all those gathered celebrating this couple. My favorite part of the wedding day was towards the end of the night…
For most, the year 2020 will be remembered because of the Covid Pandemic, but for this couple it will be remembered as the year they said “I do".
I first met the groom nearly sixteen years ago. We were both kids at the time. I remember pulling him around the fairgrounds in the yellow wagon…
The second of August found us in Columbus celebrating this beautiful couple. Their day was filled with lots of love and plenty of laughter.
They met by chance, that he would travel, from Michigan to work in Ohio, to work at their farm. They became friends which turned into more.
Laughter erupted from the pews, smiles on everyones’ face. Life is funny sometimes. It’s those moments, the unexpected real life moments that make a day perfect.
April Fool’s Day found us on a Monday in Pittsburgh celebrating the wedding of Kait and Logan. This was a very special wedding for us for multiple reasons, one of which being that Kait is my sister.
